Fourth meeting of the Coalition for The People's Agenda "fourthcoming" Sunday, January 9 at 3:00 p.m. at Braden Center
Date: Thursday, December 30, 2010, 9:50 AM
Hello, folks!
This is to let you know, with a fair amount of lead time for a change, that the
Coalition for The People's Agenda will be having a meeting, its fourth in recent
months, at
The Braden Center,
3208 West Broadway, at
3:00 p.m. on
Sunday, January 9 .
At our last meeting, we did some of the little updating that we thought was
called for in light of events since 2006 or so, to a document (an unchanged
version of which is in an ATTACHED pdf file) that is in its essence brilliantly
timeless. Copies of the "new" version, as well as Xeroxed and folded copies
of the original for those who still need them, will be distributed at the meeting;
and we will plan our next steps as we aim for a presentation of The People's
Agenda to the new mayor and Metro Council well before the first budget of
the new administration comes out in April/May.
Hope many of you can make this "meeting of the minds" as we continue the
process of "Heal, Restore, Transform" into a just, equitable community inclusive of
EVERYONE!!
In Solidarity and Peace,
Ike Thacker
